Obituary of Barbara Elaine Pedrick

Barbara Elaine Pedrick (née Hovey) died peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 9^th, 2024, on Hilton Head Island, SC.

 

She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, August 1st, 1934, to Alvin and Lucille Hovey, the eldest of 4 children. She attended Western Michigan University, where she earned her BA in English. She resided in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was an early education teacher for 30 years.

 

Barbara retired to Hilton Head Island in 1990 where she lived until her death.

 

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lawrence Pedrick; her daughters, Gretchen Craig and Nancy Pedrick (Andrew Cretella); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Craig, Elizabeth Anderson, Emily Craig, and Stuart Craig. 

 

 In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the American Lung Association.
