Obituary of Joyce Ann Arnal

Joyce Ann Arnal peacefully passed away in her sleep on March 8, 2024, at 85, leaving behind a legacy of love. Born July 26, 1938, in Canonsburg, PA, to Consalvo and Anne Derrico, she graduated from Canonsburg High School in 1956. Joyce worked as a legal secretary for attorney Patrick Derrico and Catholic Social Services prior to marrying Emil (Bud) C. Arnal at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1962. Blessed with three children, Joyce committed her talents to their education and spiritual life. A devout Catholic, Joyce joined Stephen's Ministry in 1981, providing communion for the homebound. Her devotion to community continued after retirement, as she worked at St. Francis Catholic School. Joyce's life was marked by caring for others, hosting gatherings, and creating cherished memories.

Mrs. Arnal is survived by husband, Emil (Bud) Arnal; son David (Marie); daughter Kelly (Greg) Allen; son Jeffrey (Estelle); grandchildren Samuel & Jehanne Marie Arnal, Maggie & Henry Allen, Thomas & Ian Arnal; and siblings Diane Delvecchio, Connie Flowers, Monte Bogush, and Denny Derrico.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on May 3, 2024 at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church, Hilton Head Island, at 10:00am with a Celebration of Life to follow in the church family center.
