Sherry S. Clark

Sherry Sharlene Clark (nee McCarty) died peacefully in Bluffton, SC, on February 10, 2024, after a prolonged illness. She was born September 1, 1947 in Carrington, ND, daughter of Thomas and Katherine McCarty. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, Emily and Colin, stepdaughter Illya, her sister Shirley and brothers Tom and Jerry. She received her nursing degree from Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND, and proudly served as a pediatric nurse. She was a caring and compassionate individual who always took an interest in others, loved the outdoors and lived an active lifestyle, and who had an exceptional store of knowledge.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 22 at the Saint Luke’s Methodist Church at 3080 Okatie Hwy (SC 170) in Bluffton. In lieu of flowers: donations to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) NAMILowcountry, P.O. Box 2418, Hilton Head Island, SC 29925.
