Obituary of Celia R. Leff

Celia Leff passed away on September 20, 2023, on Hilton Head Island at the age of 93. She was born Celia Rubin in 1930 in Philadelphia, where she lived with her father Samuel and brother Henry.

In 1951 she married Paul Leff and they had two sons, Brian and Michael. In addition to being a mother and homemaker, she worked in sales for J.E.Caldwell Co., a Philadelphia jeweler.

Paul and Celia moved to Hilton Head in 1989.

She was a great lover of animals, and she thoroughly enjoyed the parade of wonderful cats and dogs that passed through the household. A lifelong baseball fan, she stood by her beloved Phillies through thick and thin.

Celia will be dearly missed by her children, Brian Leff and Michael Leff; grandchildren, Alez Leff and Paula Rose; and great grandchildren, Matteo Leff, Sonia Leff, Kaiden Rose, and Alesia Rose.

Private graveside services were held by the family at Six Oaks Cemetery.
