Obituary of Darlene Baima

Darlene  Baima, 85, of Hilton  Head Island  passed away at her home, on

Tuesday, January 4, 2023,  surrounded  by her family.

A Mass of Christian  Burial is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday,

January 11, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church.  There will be a  private burial at

Six Oaks  Cemetery following  the liturgy.

Darlene was born on January 6, 1937, to Joseph & Frances Lodi in Oglesby, Illinois. She married John  Baima on December 27,  1958. She was an entrepreneur and loved working with the  public for the  past 15 years at Mingles.  She enjoyed and loved her Yorkies: Bitsy, Buddy, Zippy & Sassi, gardening and reading.

Survivors include her husband, John and 2 daughters, Sandra Toomer (Bill Toomer), Amie Baima-Berkner and a grandson Evan  Berkner.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Frances, her brother, David Lodi and her sister,  Elaine  Day.
