I have so many memories of our crazy days in Caracas, most of which bring a smile to my heart. Playing bridge, playing charades, Mick and Bill talking for hours about local politics and doing business under those circumstances, dear old Bert. A trip along the coast on washed out roads (what were we thinking?), getting mugged downtown. (Ah! Those were the days!) You took in our houseguests, Tippy and Lue, when we had Mick’s surprise birthday party, and Whitnee still talks about your taking her to a Chinese restaurant on her birthday. She felt so special. Back in the States, we had get-togethers in Fripp, in the mountains of North Carolina, and then, Hilton Head. Mick and Bill still talking constantly, mostly about Caracas…. And, you were with me when I sent Craig off to war in Afghanistan. We have so enjoyed our friendship with Bill and Eddi. Now it is up to us, Eddi, to keep the memories of our “other halves”, and laugh about the fun we have had together over these decades. We will carry on. Claudia
