Dear LouAnn, Parker & Mallory:
I just wanted to express my deepest condolences on behalf of the entire Slezak Family. I remember Scott so fondly. He was just an incredibly nice guy. He was always a gentleman. And he was always humble. I used loved the way he would tell a story, or share a joke. I also enjoyed all the times we would fish from the bunker on the 17th hole at Harbour Town (I don't think we would have gotten away with that today). I know he will be terribly missed, but he left one amazing legacy. God rest your soul, Scott.
Thinking of you all, Rob Slezak

LouAnn, Parker, Mallory, Mark, Sue, and Hans,
Words can't express the amount of sorrow I am feeling upon hearing about Scott. I have so many fond memories. The rounds of golf at Edgewood, basketball in the driveway, and 'cruising' in the Honda Accord to name a few. The memories from our time together in Hilton Head in particular bring many smiles to my face. The family vacations of which I was included, and the summer Scott, Mark, Bill, Chris, and I spent in Hilton Head are extra special. Surf fishing while grilling burgers, listening to music, smoking a cigar, drinking a beer, watching the sunset and hearing Scott's deep infectious laugh are vivid memories that I will cherish always.
Scott had a gift of making everyone he was with feel special. It was impossible not to be in a good mood in his presence. Thank you Scott for sharing your humor, wisdom, and friendship. You will be sorely missed.

Of Scott’s many past times, I think fly fishing was one of his favorite things to do. Here’s a photo that was shared with me from a past fly fishing trip. He’s fly fishing with angels now and I’m sure he’s catching a fish with each cast. We’re going to dearly miss him. Love always and good fishing. Chip (brother-in-law) & Vivian Oakley
