Dear John and Family, We are so sorry for your loss of Gerda. I will never forget my Mom saying that Gerda was such a lovely person and how she always enjoyed being with the two of you. Wishing you & your family peace in their hearts. Love, Libby and Ed
John, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. After all of your years together I can't imagine how hard this is. I still remember meeting your beautiful Gerda for the first time in WV right after you returned from Germany at your mother's house.
Dear John & Family,
We were so sorry to get the news that Gerta had passed away. Gerta and you were always so friendly regardless of circumstances. We will never forget Gert's warm & open smile. God bless Gerta & her memory.

John - so saddened at the loss of Gerda. We always seemed to find each other at Club events and share a smile and a story and a chuckle. She was so easy to share those moments with. Barbara and Bob
John and family,
Lanny and I are deeply sadden by the loss of Gerda, she was such a sweet, lovely lady. We always looked forward to the dinner and a movie nights when you and Gerda joined us. We loved her stories about how the two of you met and coming to the states to meet your family. She will be missed terribly. We are keeping you and your family in our hearts and prayers.
We hope you find peace in sweet memories,
Cherie & Lanny
Our deepest condolences on your loss. Louise had enjoyed Gerda’s company although she said she was a VERY GOOD golfer! (Not just average or so-so)....which I saw playing with her in one of the twilight events!
I can only imagine what it’s like to lose your partner and friend. We send our prayers that the Lord eases your grief and that of the family.
We’re in North Carolina and will miss the funeral but our thoughts are with you my friend.

Gerda was a clever, stylish woman who always was so pleasant to be around. She also displayed a great deal of perseverance in all of life's challenges. These attributes are evident in her beloved daughters. She was a wonderful Omi to her grandson, Matt and he, I'm sure, has been the recipient of much love and advice. Jay and I are so sorry for your loss. May your grief be lessened by the knowledge of a life well lived who is now with her Lord. Love, Sharon and Jay Belcher
I will always remember Gerda because of her style on the golf course. She may have not had the best golf swing in the world but she was always the best dressed golfer at any event. She was a loving mother and grandmother who could always be depended on to protect Carolyn, Heidi and Matt. We will miss her greatly but know she is in a better place with no more pain or worries.
