Obituary of Marie Piscitello

Marie Piscitello passed away Saturday morning, August 11, 2018 in her residence at Bloom Senior Living at Hilton Head. She is survived by her son, David, his wife, Molly, and her grandchildren Taylor and Matthew. Marie first visited Hilton Head Island in 1985 with her departed husband, Michael. They fell in love with the Island, became snow birds, and moved to Shipyard Plantation in 1993. Marie was a familiar face at Annie’s Attic, where she was well known for practicing both fun and feisty bargaining skills, but also for having a smile and kind word for nearly everyone. The family wishes to thank Marie’s sister, Jenny Giancola and her son, Dr. Frank Giancola, for their unwavering support during Marie’s declining health. We are grateful as well for the generous and patient care given to Marie by the Bloom and Senior Health Associates staff and particularly, the care and kindness offered by Tidewater hospice. The family will respect Marie’s wishes and will grieve privately.
