Obituary of Linda Dolan Warner

Linda Dolan Warner, 84, of Hilton Head Island passed away unexpectantly in her home on May 17, 2023.

 

Linda was born in 1939 to Vinnie and Ava Dolan in the city of Hartford, Connecticut.  After Linda graduated from Manchester High School, she married Paul Chambers (now deceased).  Linda had three children with him: Jonathon, Mark, and Chris (deceased). 

 

She married C. Edward Warner in 1979 and was married to him for 43 wonderful years.  During that time, they lived in the Hartford, CT area, West Lake Village, CA, and Avon, CT.  After Edward retired in 1989, they lived on Hilton Head Island, then to Aiken, SC and then back to Hilton Head Island.  Linda was an outstanding interior designer and an exceptional cook; she was always learning and experimenting.   She was an active member of garden and dining clubs in each area in which she lived, including Sea Pines and Long Cove.

 

She is survived by her husband Edward, her son Johnathon (Plantsville, CT) and his daughters Amy and Sarah, her son Mark (Aiken, SC), and her sister Georgia (Burlington, VT) and her daughters Robin, Penny, and Jill.

 

She is also survived by Edward’s children Michael, Mark, Pamela, and Doug, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren by whom she was loved dearly.

 

A memorial service will be held in the Hartford, Connecticut area at a date to be determined.
