Obituary of Shannon Kimberly Gray

Shannon Kimberly Gray, 46, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away on May 15th, 2023, at her home.

Shannon Gray was born on November 21, 1976, on Hilton Head Island to Susan P. Crast and Glenn Gray and attended Hilton Head Prep and graduated from The Forman School in Litchfield, CT.

She was the owner of Vanity Fur Pet Grooming Salon for 21 years. Her love of dogs brought many loyal dog owners and clients that became friends.

Shannon is survived by her two daughters, Cameron Lynn Flathers, 18 and Phoebe Gray Flathers, 11 both of Hilton Head Island, her mother, Susan, and stepfather, Ken Crast, grandmother, Gwen Gray of Tryon, NC and Uncle William and Aunt Wendy Palladino of Chapel Hill, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Gray and grandmother, Emmy Lou Palladino. 

She will be buried at Six Oaks Cemetery in Sea Pines Plantation at a later date.

There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 3rd at the Shipyard Beach Club from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
