Obituary of Shirley C. Bentrup

We are sad to announce the passing of Shirley Way Bentrup of Hilton Head Island, SC. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. She died on Hilton Head Island at age 57 on November 25, 2022. She was born on March 8, 1965, in Lancaster, PA.

 

She was a Cum Laude graduate of Elizabethtown College where she majored in Business Administration and retired from a very successful career in real estate. Shirley loved to cook and crotchet. She touched so many lives wherever she went.

 

Shirley lived a life full of joy and was so loved by so many friends and family who will miss her dearly including her parents; John E. Way, Jr. and his wife Sally Way, and Carol Gardner; her long-term partner Brian Deschamps, and two siblings, Steve and Elizabeth.

 

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
