Obituary of Janie Camelia Maxwell Heise

Janie Camelia Maxwell Heise was born on June 22, 1947, in Pelham, Georgia. She was 75 and died surrounded by loved ones on November 6, 2022, on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Janie was an amazing mother, woman, and friend. She loved being with her family, friends, community, and her pets. She brightened every room with her infectious laugh and the warmth and strength of her hugs were legendary. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will live on for many years.

Janie is survived by her daughters; Kristina Heise (Adolphus Weems III) and Alexandra Carlyle (Phillip) as well as her grandchildren; Grace and Maxwell Carlyle. She also leaves behind her brothers; Alan (Faye) and Charles (Gayle) Maxwell. She is preceded in death by her husband; Terry L. Floyd as well as her two sisters; Mary Sue Boyes and Sandra Jones Janie will be laid to rest in a private ceremony near the farm where she grew up.
