Obituary of Rita Miller Hogan

Rita Miller Hogan daughter of Herman and Christine Carter Miller of Advance, North Carolina. She attended Davie High and graduated from Appalachian State University. She owned Rita Hogan Accounting Services on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

She was loved by so many people including her family, friends, and clients. She was always helping someone and was such a giving person. She will be greatly missed. Her warmth and compassion will always be remembered and cherished by everyone who knew her. She loved her Lord and grew up in Bethlehem Methodist Church and was later baptized in the Baptist Church in South Carolina.

Rita is survived by her two sons; Tommy and Adam Hogan; daughter-in-law, Tiana Hogan (Tommy); sister Tina and Gary Gardner of California; niece and nephew Julie and Dylan Gardner of California; Aunt Cleo Bertini and many loving cousins whom she loved dearly. Her dad preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Island Funeral Home Saturday, September 17^th, 2022, at 2 PM. All who want to attend are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memorial Cancer Institute or donor's choice.
