Obituary of Ruth M. Wiedemann

      Ruth M. Wiedemann passed away peacefully at the Village Cove Assisted Living facility on April 6, 2022.  Ruth was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a daughter of John and Irene Malley. She traveled the world with residences in London England, Scotland and Libya, before settling down in Hilton Head in 1984.

Ruth, an avid golfer and member of the Sea Pines Country Club, is predeceased by her beloved husband Jack.  She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received for visitation on Wednesday April 20, from 5 to 7 pm at the Island Funeral Home and Crematory, 4 Cardinal Road.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Thursday April 21. Islandfuneralhome.com.
