Obituary of Judy Crowl

Judy Heinke Crowl, 83, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Judy was born on May 25, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Elmer and Ruth Heinke.

Judy graduated from Purdue University, where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, earning a teaching degree in Speech Therapy. She lived in several places including Dayton and Toledo, Ohio, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and England before settling in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina for over 20 years.

Judy enjoyed traveling and traveled most of the world and most recently enjoyed cruise ship travel with her husband, John. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and best friend Judy Berg. She was an enthusiastic shopper and could always find a great bargain.

In addition to her loving husband, John, of 63 years, she is survived by her daughter, Susan Crowl Del Baggio (Benny) of Tyrone, Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law Debbie Crowl of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Judy was especially proud of her six grandchildren: Courtney King (Seth), Jonathan Crowl, Benedict Del Baggio IV, Nicholas Del Baggio, Chloe Crowl, and Caylen Crowl. Along with her sister Nedra Williams (Ken) of Arizona. Judy was preceded in death by her son, John P. Crowl.
