Obituary of Anne Bennett

Anne Bennett, 100, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021.  She was born in West Mahanoy, Pennsylvania, on March 9, 1921.  In 1941, she married John F. Bennett, her loving husband of 72 years.  They raised their family in Wantagh, New York, before retiring to Hilton Head Island in 1976, where they enjoyed many years of golf, walking the beach, birdwatching, and crabbing with grandkids. 

Anne will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her love of classic cinema, her flair for Italian cooking, her appreciation of nature, and her good luck in games of chance. 

She is survived by her children, Patricia Pack of Fair Lawn, NJ, John Bennett Jr. of Holtsville, NY and Nancy (Daniel) Davis of Hilton Head Island, SC.  She was a proud grandma to seven grandchildren and a proud great-grandma to nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Bennett and her son Robert B. Bennett. 

The family wishes to thank the staff at Broad Creek Care Center for their dedicated caregiving to Anne.
