Obituary of Steven R. Kuhlman

Steven R. Kuhlman, 78, of Hilton Head Island, SC (formerly of Roswell, GA and Findlay, OH), was called home by God on September 2, 2021.  Steve died at Beaufort Memorial Hospital after a short battle with Covid.

Steve was born on October 4, 1942, to Richard Louis Kuhlman and Jeannette (Rankin) Kuhlman.  Steve is survived by his loving wife Linda; they would have celebrated 42 years of marriage in December, 2021.  Steve is also survived by his son Timothy S. Kuhlman (Wellington, FL), son Brett R. Kuhlman (Lawrenceville, GA), grandson Tyler S. Kuhlman (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), along with sisters Johnnie Eisel (New Hudson, MI) and Christy Good (Ft. Jennings, OH) as well as many loving nieces and nephews.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeffrey Kuhlman.

Steve will be remembered by so many as an exceptionally caring, loving, generous husband, father, son and brother.  He dedicated an equal amount of love, time and passion as a Rep Principal/Owner of The MVK Group.  He served many board positions on OPRA and NOPA, earned countless Sales Achievement awards, and was a highly loved and respected "servant leader" in the office products industry for over 40 years.  He left an indelible mark on all who knew and loved him.  Steve loved unconditionally.  His life centered around helping family and friends, as well as strangers in need.  His most treasured time was the time he shared with family.

Steve was on the board of Hilton Head Safe Harbour where he helped and enriched the lives of residents as they age in place.  Steve had a servant's heart and was always available and willing to serve at Resurrection Christian Community Church and Grace Community Church where he had relationships at both.

A memorial service will take place at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Grace Community Church, 450 Spanish Wells Rd., Hilton Head Island, SC.  All are welcome to attend. The service will also be live-streamed on Grace Community Church's Facebook page.

There will also be a "Celebration of Life" service held at Lake Lanier Islands, GA on October 7 from 2:00-4:00 pm that is open to everyone.
