Obituary of Christine D. Gudz

Christine D. Gudz, 82, of Hilton Head, SC, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.  Chris was born on December 23, 1936 in New York City, NY to Philip and Urania Avraamidis.  Chris is survived by two children, Judi (Ken) Medlin of Sedalia, CO and Kenneth (Wendy) Gudz, of Hilton Head, SC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Gudz.

Chris’ favorite phrase was, “To God be the glory!” and she lived her servant hearted life with an unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  In addition to her own family, Chris’ church family and friends at First Baptist Church of Hilton Head were the most important aspects of her world.  Chris’ unselfish life of service to others was lived without drawing attention to herself.  As such, her wishes upon her passing were to not have any funeral or visitation services.
