Obituary of Judith Ina Aronson

Judith Aronson, 81, of Hilton Head, formerly of Livingston, New Jersey, died last week peacefully at home. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Joel, and her three sons, Stephen, Neal and Mark. She also leaves behind two cherished daughters in laws, Dana and Wendy, six grandchildren, Charlie, Will, Matthew, Ellie, Spencyr and Eddi, and her sister, Mrs. Paula Cummis. She was predeceased by her parents, The Honorable Judge Edward Abramson and Ruth Abramson of Belleville, New Jersey. Mrs. Aronson was a renowned teacher and volunteer. She was passionate about helping the less fortunate and leaves a long legacy of public service and many friends. She attended The University of Michigan and graduated from Columbia University. Mrs. Aronson spent a lifetime pursuing learning opportunities and never stopped improving and pushing those around her to achieve their potential. She was greatly loved and will be terribly missed by her family and all of those whose lives she touched. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Aronson’s life will be held at 10:30am on June 8 at Congregation Beth Yam, 4501 Main Street, followed by a reception at Country Club of Hilton Head.
