Obituary of Robert Ward Taylor

Robert Ward Taylor, 96 formerly of Cincinnati, passed away on Hilton Head, SC on June 23, 2018. He was born in Pontiac, MI on March 23, 1922. A decorated World War II veteran, he served in the US Army in the North African and Italian campaigns. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he had a successful career as an engineer for the H.C. Nutting Company. Bob was an avid golfer and he was President of Coldstream Country Club. He also enjoyed other sports and travel. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his son Robert, his daughter Barbara, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joanne Muller and second wife, Lois McCarthy. There will be no local service and inurnment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati at a later date.
