Obituary of Susan Hudgins

Susan Hudgins, 89, of Hilton Head, died peacefully on November 6, 2018. Susan was born in Hollywood, Florida, and lived in Virginia for most of her adult life. She moved to Hilton Head in 1998 to volunteer as a family therapist at Volunteers in Medicine (VIM), where she helped initiate mental health services. She was VIM’s volunteer of the year in 2000. Surviving family members are her son and daughter-in-law, Skip and Betty Ann Hudgins, of Atlanta, and her daughter, Nancy Hudgins, of Napa; also 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Susan was a long-time member of All Saints Episcopal Church. Please support their ministry. At her request, there will be a private ceremony.
