Obituary of Christine Frances Fryt

Christine Frances (Bungart) Fryt, 70, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina passed away March 8th, 2018 of natural causes. Chris was born on October 9, 1947 in Jackson, Michigan, to parents Rita Deshaine Bungart and Robert Walter Bungart. She was a 1965 graduate of St. John’s High School, a 1967 graduate of Jackson Community College, and a 1969 graduate of Western Michigan University. During her lifetime, Chris was a teacher at Queens School in Jackson, Michigan, an Entrepreneur, and worked in retail sales. Later in life, Christine enjoyed being a grandmother to her five grandchildren She is survived by her children, Travis Winchell (Melissa) of Marshall, Michigan, Lesley Fryt of Hilton Head Island, Sean Fryt (Courtney) of San Diego, California, and five grandchildren, as well as siblings Anne Hill, John (Kathy) Bungart, and Mary (Bud) Hess. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Phillip Bungart, and sister Roberta Snyder. One of Christine’s passions was the compassionate care of rescue animals and her pets.
