Obituary of Albert Jules Kuklinski

“Al,” age 67, of Hilton Head Island formally Minneapolis, Minnesota, died peacefully on March 9, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born August 22, 1950 in Starke, Florida to LCDR Steve and Rosemary Kuklinski. Al retired from Northwest Airlines after 21 years of service. This beloved job allowed him to travel all over the U.S. playing softball where he met the love of his life, Karyn. After moving to Hilton Head Island in 2005, he enjoyed working with the Marriott Vacation Club and The Cypress of Hilton Head. Al took a special interest in everyone he met. He went above and beyond with every guest which earned him the 2017 Loss Prevention Associate of the Year with Marriott Vacation Club. He was an avid sports fan especially rooting for Notre Dame and the Green Bay Packers. Al was an expert storyteller with a giant, charismatic personality and a heart of gold. He is survived by two daughters, Julee Irish Elizabeth and Chelsee Rose FuMei and their mother, Karyn Hunt, siblings Steve (Kitty) Kuklinski, Andrew (Diane) Kuklinski and Leanne (Aarne) Rairamo, many adored nieces and nephews, and numerous special lifelong friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm, Friday, March 16th at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church.
