Obituary of Grace W. Morgan

Grace W. “Peggy” Morgan, 93, passed away at the Broad Creek Care Center on March 22, 2018. She was born in Arlington, Virginia on March 19, 1925. After attending Washington Elementary and Eastern High School, she graduated from Greenbrier College in West Virginia. In 1948, Peggy married Air Force veteran Earl J. Morgan, who predeceased her after 61 years of marriage. They raised their family in Bethesda, Maryland, where they were members of the Manor and Kenwood Country Clubs. They retired to Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island in 1977 where they had happy lives of great friendship throughout the rest of their lives. As members of Sea Pines Country Club, they enjoyed swimming, dancing, and golf. Peggy and Earl were founding members of Providence Presbyterian Church where they were very active. They built a home in TidePointe in 1999. Peggy is survived by three sons, Keith (Jane) of Scarsdale, NY, Kevin (Carol) of Jenkinsburg, GA, and Gary (Vickie) of Hartland, WI; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Interment will be private in Beaufort National Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of her beautiful Life at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 28 in the TidePointe ballroom for her many friends.
